Fw: Starting on HomeSeer

I would strongly suggest not using the web interface for more advanced
controls - I have found that the we interface misses certain things, and
some items cant be entered. Always double check through the main program
interface that it's done correctly.

For what you are trying to do, you dont need to have a script - you can
select this all through the program.

[ukha_d] Starting on HomeSeer

I'm just a few hours into HomeSeer and as test replacement from ActiveHome
and need to ask for some elementary help.

How may I create a macro or virtual device such as A1 on now and A1 off
one hour later? I see that I can create this sequence as one event with
the immediate ON time and delayed OFF time and triggered by an absolute
time, but that means I must recreate such events for each occurrence that
I wish to schedule such a sequence. Is there some way I can create this
as not as an event but a permanent sequence (virtual device, macro,
whatever) which can be given various scheduled events and triggers?
