You should be able to do all this from the default shares.... simply go

\\machinename\c$

(identifying with a username/password for the old machine if it asks for
one - if your new machine has same un/pw it probably wont)

Then you can access anything you like on the c: drive without setting
explicit shares on each folder :-)
