Hi,

I've just joined this group after seeing it mentioned on Yahoo Self Build,
I'm an IT guy day to day but I like getting my hands dirty with plumbing,
electrics, joinery and home cinema.  I'm heavily reworking my home in the
near future, new bedroom, loft conversion, bigger kitchen, downstairs loo,
en-suite and a conservatory, and I want to do things like zoned intelligent
heating and some fancy lighting for my home theatre which must also double
as the family room.
