Guys,

I want to collate a number of environment inputs taken from 'closed
contact' devices and then have each of these input generate an X10 event
- each of them a unique code.

I know that for a single event, e.g. a PIR, I could hook it up to a
Powerflash module - which is a great solution for a single input....but
if you want to take input from 3 or 4 PIRs then you're looking at a
whole bank of Powerflash modules (and therefore wallsockets). Not a very
pretty (or cheap) solution.

Having scanned for suitable off-the-shelf solutions, I can't find any.
So, has anyone solved this problem before me ?? I'm thinking that short
of finding a out-the-box fix then I'll maybe take a look at modifying a
Mini-Controller.

Thoughts ?

Cheers,
Rob
