Did a 1 day plastering course on Friday.

Best £140.00 i've spent in ages !!

I cannot believe in one day i've learnt enough to be able to prepare and
base coat a blockwork/brick wall, then apply finish plaster to a
profesional
finish. Also how to make perfect patches to chased walls, and tape and skim
plasterboard walls.

Considering the amount i've previously paid a plasterer to skims wall etc.
i'm now going to save a bundle, especially as the plasterer coming tomorrow
to plaster my lounge walls and ceilings is charging £200 per day plus
materials :( - whilst i am confident of my new skills i decided that a 19ft
square room and ceiling was a little beyond my capabilities.

I think this course is a must for any serious HA'er doing retrofit works.

The course is here http://www.plasteringworkshop.co.uk/

I've no afiliation, just thinks its a brilliant idea..

Dean.
