Re: Hard Drive Orientation in a Car [LONG POST]

The M-Station I have used an ordinary 10Gb IDE drive, not a laptop one. I
have 2 of them and nicked the drive out of one for use on my brothers
computer. The wife has been driving around with the hers under the drivers
seat for coming up to 2 years withno problems.
Ironically it looks as though the one in a nice stable environment of the
brothers computer has died :-(

Are laptop hard drives designed to take more knocks?

I had the M-Station in my car for around a year and never had any problems.
