Thanks all. The general consensus appears to be that a USB jobbie is the
preferred option (seeing as my PDA has BT built-in).

Next question is class 1 or 2. I've never heard of BT adaptors being
available in 2 flavours. Any advice on this?

Here are 2 cheaper types available from Scan ATM -
MSI BTose Bluetooth Dongle USB 20m Class 2 =A313.95 =A316.39
MSI Bluetooth Dongle (MS6967) USB 200m (open space) =A319.95 =A323.44 =
=20

SJ

(Still leaves me wondering why the PC Card types are more expensive)

I have a Gigabyte USB jobby from Scam (about 17 quid I think) and cant
fault
it...

Have used it on numerous desktop pc's to sync PDA's and phones and also
laptops (both IBM and Apple :-))

No problems at all, the software bundle that comes with it isnt bad
either
:-)

It also came with a very long USB extention cable... Very handy

Steve

I got a CF card form factor so I could use it in both my iPAQ and Lappy.

If I had a BT enabled PDA I'd go for a cheap USB one.
