These particular drivers only support the Emu10k1 and EMu10k2 chips. I've
not seen anything similar for other cards :-( May be worth checking exactly
what is on your board though.

Is there any equivalent for VIA boards? I don't know what audio chip is
in them, but I think it's not EM one.
I have my server running in 1u case, with no space for extra cards.

Sorted - well I think so :)

kX audio drivers are meant to allow you to use up to 4 stereo digital
outputs - so you can have multiple winamp's etc playing to multiple
zones in a whole house music scenario - on ONE SB Audigy card (and other
cards based on Emu10k1 and EMu10k2 chips). Still to test this though.

Cool!!!

Paul.

Subject: [ukha_d] Soundcard drivers - multi out?

I'm looking for some drivers or software for my SB Audigy 2 that will
allow me to output different audio on the different channels
(effectively using a single card as 2 or 3 stereo cards). I have loads
of spare soundcards but unfortunately my HA PC is full :-(

Anyone know if this is possible and if anything exists?

Paul.
