If you want a KVM extender over cat 5 then have a look at the Aten unit
ava=
ilable from kvm switch direct. I am using 4 of them at work for rack
mounte=
d pc's & I think they are very good value at =A3126.43 + vat. http://www.kv=

Heh I just got off the phone with one of these guys too....
He quoted you 200squid did he Hmmmmmmm.....

They also do KVM over IP @ wait for it ..... a choking couple of grand.

Think I'm in the same boat at you and am am looking at VGA or KVM(belkin do
one at under 300squid) over Cat5 (not necessarily Networked).

Sod this I might just as well disable the network printer and USB on the
server and shift them to another PC.

Further to my recent post, I appear to have found a device which will let
m=
e
send USB over Cat5 - see http://www.nti1.co.uk/usbc5.html

Can anyone who has used this product let me know if it works as advertised?
Is anyone aware of any alternatives (this one will set me back close to
=A3200)?

Regards,

Michael.
