Ant,

We use Fax via Outlook at work. Composing a fax is just like writing an
email, you can add attachments etc. and these are converted to
"pages" when you send the fax.  Incoming faxes are converted to
TIF files. And appear as an email in your Inbox.

As it's part of Outlook you can share your existing Contacts etc.
