I feel your pain.  Having been customer #125, I was with them a looong
time.
Circumstances and value for money however, dictated a move......
Try http://www.dmclub.net/ - works
for me.
When I signed up originally, I got an 07050 number with no requirement
for a minimum no. of calls.
More recently however, I needed another fax no. and got an 07005 no, and
was required to receive 1 fax per month (or something like that).
Not gr8, but not terrible and most importantly, low cost (for me
anyway!)
