Subject: [ukha_d] Lightning Update - Comfort Lives - Sort of...

My alarm installer was out yesterday for the first time since the
lightning incident. The main board was replaced on Comfort and zones
1-16 are back. However the slave panel is tubed as well so the other
half of the system is still off-line :(

I now have lightning protection on the alarm circuit and the 2nd circuit
in N0 that powers everything else. I still need to sort out protection

Anyone know if I can install some sort of device on the incoming side of
the homehighway box?

So far the list of lightning damage includes....

Comfort (=A3=A3=A3)
Rack Mount Hub
One Telephone
(Possible serial port damage in HA Server)
LNB on Satellite Dish
Vehicle Alerts x 2 + PSU

:(

M.
