You are correct, all the Athlon CPU's that end in a "+" (plus)
are rated as
per their "Intel equivalent" clock speed, and are actually
clocked at a
somewhat lower frequency. There's no big secret about the genuine clock
speed of the chips, so any good retailer should list the real clock speed
in
the specifications on their website.
