Ian,
It's the Ethernet status I'm looking for. Basically I have a rack load of
=
switches in the basement wired up to <somewhere> I want to be able
to plu=
g a device in, and have it tell me that there is a hub/switch on the other
=
end.
Stuart

Is it the actual ethernet link status you need to check Stuart, or is a
sim=
ple cable check good enough?
Basically, I use one of the super cheeep network testers sold in B&Q
under =
the Philex Brand. When I got mine, it was about =A325, not that expensive..
Ian.
