I have the same problem with my circa 1968 non-compliant SWMBO using the
original firmware.
I'm going to put Sky+ into the lounge to benefit from the picture
quality on plasma and simpler user experience. Tivo can feed my office
so I can play :-)

For the older generation, I find Sky+ to be better. My Dad didn't get on
well with Tivo. Sky+ he finds fantastic because it is the Sky TV guide

has been used to for years.
