HELP - am I going mad?

within the last couple of days my 3 LW10 wall dimmers have stopped
responding to x10 commands - they still function perfectly as stand-
alone dimmers ...... the commands come from a CM12 driven by AutoM8
and all it's commands to AM12 and LM12 units work fine ..... I have
even tried connecting the CM12 to a socked adjacent to the
distribution board - same results.

What am I missing? Am I going mad? can all 3 LW10s have the same
failure at the same time? can the CM12 be selective about what
commands to send?
