hmmm, interesting - it didn't accept my password when i just typed it in
ASCII (ooo, getting technical! :-p ).

might depend on the type of AP?

Most airport cards will also accept the password in plain English (mine
does)

e.g, the password used to create the hex key is "password" so I
simply
type in "password" into the airport dialog box and bingo :-) (or
"boom"
as steve jobs would say - watch the video I linked earlier ;-))

you need the Hex password for your wireless LAN.

this is a collection of double digits that may (or may not, depending on
your software) be separated by semi-colons. it should look something
like: 01:62:9D:AD:85:8C:12

etc etc.

if you need more specific help, mail me off-list (i had similar problems
to begin with)
