My 6310i works fine with my jabra headset. Seamless.

For what it is worth I have never had a phone other tahn a Nokia capable of
physically withstanding the rigors of a working life.

I like the Sony/Ericsson thing of being able to record "home"
"Work" "Mobile" in addition to a name and so be able to
dial "Blaine Work" and "Blaine Mobile" and "Blaine
Home" but only take up 1 space in the voice phonebook.

Explains the above comment then.

Nokia are a terrible company when it comes to Bluetooth. Try making a 6310i
see a Bluetooth headset that isn't made by Nokia. You can't because Nokia
are big headed enough to think they can just bulldoze any industry standard
because they have the biggest market share.

Nokia have officially lost the plot, as proved by the N-Gage and their new
line-up of phones. In answer to the original question, I don't know a
better
phone than the Sony Ericsson T610. It does everything you could ever want.
