Assuming it is a HiFi VCR then the audio track can only be recorded at the
same time as the video as HiFi tracks are depth multiplexed within the
tape=
.
Non-Hifi soundtracks are linear and can be redubbed at a later date.
I dont see why the Hifi audio would not be admissible as it is tamperproof.
As to its accuracy, what is to say that the video overlay from a CCTV
processor would actually be set to the correct time.
Not a legal opinion just my technical view of the situation.
