RE: OT (Sorry)Office files opening slowly
Office XP. Pull the network cable out, it's quicker, plug it in again (get
IP address) it's slow...
I've given the guy a work around by copying and pasting into a new document
which leads me to believe it may be a template style issue. He's happy so
I'm happy. :-)

When you say connect to the network, do you mean logged on to a win2k/nt
domain?
What version of office are you using?
