Just found that MusicMatch can create mp3Pro files which could save
a lot of space. It also has two top level recording qualities, 'CD
Transparency' at 96 kbps and 'CD Quality' at 64 kbps. As I'm
currently ripping at 'CD Quality' 128 kbps in ordinary MP3, I could
potentially halve the storage space. Does anyone have experience of
this file format? Presumably these will not play on 'standard' MP3
players?
