Forgive me for asking, but why would you need to keep changing domains ?

One thing you can do in Windows XP is to set up a secondary network
configuration on your NIC. On bootup if it can't find the original network
, it will go to it's secondary setup and try and connect using those
settings.

Quite useful for multi-site working - but it doesn't change the domain for
you !
