I took the really cheap way out and gave my home network the same
subnet and workgroup name as at work. It's a really boring name but
it lets me move the laptop between networks. When I connect it to my
home LAN it complains on startup that no domain controller has been
found but connects happily to my network for file sharing. Not sure
if that helps or not.
