I don't know about the 'no longer used', but the condemned part I totally
agree with. It saves a builder a few quid, can't believe it's that much
cheaper than 15mm copper. However, once installed it's difficult to then
add
new rads in different areas of the house. So if you pop a conservator on,
it
might be a easy job to get it heated. Basically, the microbore pipe is so
small it can only carry a certain about of heat, so to heat up the extra
radiator can effect the rest of the system.
