Has anyone come across a transparent raid controller that is OS
independent?

I need a solution that provides a raid of 2 hard disks but does not require
any particular OS to operate it. Basically I need a single IDE interface to
the OS side with 2 hard drives on the other which appear as one but do the
changeover automatically.

Regards
Dave...
