Pair One = Tx/Gnd
Pair Two = Rx/Gnd
Pair Three = +12V/Gnd

Putting Tx/Rx on a single pair could lead to crosstalk between Sned/Receive

Going to run an RS232 signal and 12V at 400mA through a single piece of
Cat5e.

To take advantage of the twisted nature of Cat5, should I be running Tx/Rx
on one pair or Tx/Gnd and Rx/Gnd on two pairs with the third pair carrying
+12V/Gnd?

What’s best?

Paul.
