Tried the dimming the rope lights this afternoon and everything was
fine even down to about 6%. The lights don't dim differently but the
wall of the coloured tube looks ribbed inside so appears to have
different wall thickness and when viewed from certain angles can
make some of the bulbs appear dimmer.

The only problem I have now is that the rope is 164W so I can only
get one per LM12. Should have bought slightly shorter ones methinks.
