If it's the 1Gb version, it's good. The original 340Mb/512Mb versions
were much thirstier and slower IIRC, but the 2nd gen 340Mb/512Mb ones
and the 1Gb version are ok.

I've had a 1Gb one in my digital camera for quite a while and it's
great. Didn't even manage to fill it up during a 5 week holiday a
couple of years back. The only problem was the mild paranoia about
dropping it in a mug of coffee when it had 500+ [un-backed up] photos
on it :-)

Hitachi got the rights to it when they bought out IBM's main HD
business a while back, and they're now doing a 4Gb version...
