Watch out for a Sony EVI D31 or D30 or similar - often on eBay - has pan
tilt and zoom (12X) and an RS232 / VISCA control port + S-Video out &
IR
remote control - It has inbuilt motion detection and will follow a moving
object - great for Tom ,plus date /time superimpose - I have a couple they
are very good.
