Stephen

Your are thinking about the Response RE3000 & RE5000 bells.

They are specific to the response wireless systems, and would be no use on
a
wired system

Stick with a traditional bell - the battery backup will last 5 years at
least. Battery is continually trickle charged by panel, so no need for
solar.

We used to fit a lot of the response bells/systems - the instructions made
me laugh, it told you that the bell would work correctly for 4 days without
daylight - I think alarm bells would be the last thing we'd worrying about
if we had 4 days of no light :)

Hello,

I would like to get a bell box for a burglar alarm. I have searched
the likes of rs and maplin and they sell some bell boxes, but I was
looking for the one with the built in solar panel, to keep the battery
topped-up. Does anyone here know who sells it?

Thanks.
