That certainly isn't "normal" for Dell in my experience. We buy a
fair bit =
of kit from them and they are usually OK, well as "OK" as IT
companies get.

If you're a business mail me off list as I have good contact in the
busines=
s sales dept.

Hello
Anyone ordered one of these from the dell website ???

i ordered one last wednesday but have not received a confirmation email or
any correspondance from dell whatsoever, not even from the 2 complaints i
logged ?
i have not used dell before, so am unsure of there way of dealing with an
order, i would have expected to have heard SOMETHING by now ?

Regards

Robert Crawshaw

computeractive reviewed it in this weeks issue.

I think the conclusion was that it was cheap, but had a messy tangle of
wires the map kept zooming in and out and didn't do voice prompts... which
is odd, coz it has a 'voice prompt' bubble in the flyer :-S

Damn, for some reason I can't access the compactive site at the mo.

FYI Dixons, PCWorld et'all have an iPaq with bluetooth (I think) GPS and
software for =A3499 - nothing to pay until Nov 2004

I really want one - I was thinking of buying an Ipaq with GPS, but at
=A3750ish from Ebay it is a bit heavy. I would be interested to know if
any=
one
has used this and has any comments.

Tim.

Anybody going for one of these?

I'm tempted just to use it for Sat Nav......
