TomTom showed 8 satalites locked with good signal strength this morning on
my Garmin GPS II, but I do have an external antenna.

the number of locks and strength, and it is a lot lower than normal, but it
was still working, unlike my gizmo. Back to tech support.....

Pete,

my TomTom has been working fine although it does use a magnetic
external antenna.
