Range estimates are a case of "pick a number, any number". If
you're stood
10 feet from an access point, but there's a 10 foot concrete/steel wall
between you an the access point, you'll get no signal. If you're stood
half
a mile away with a perfect clear radio lne of sight, you'll get a signal
(assuming 20dB legal limit). All the 2.4GHz technologies are capable of
the
same distances in the same conditions. It's all limited by the law (and
your willingness to break it).
