Forget the design on the dicussion db (ie java) - that can be removed. I'd
like to focus on the principle - and if no-one else will host, I can as it
costs nothing.

Same here... Possibly because it uses a lot of Java?

It's a great idea and I don't want to upset Gareth by saying this, but
perhaps a php/asp based forum would be a better medium for this sort of
thing? (that would at least remove the java problems)

It's a nice idea and I'm sure we've discussed similar stuff in the past,
but
for me the site seems painfully slow even though I'm at work on a 2Mb
pipe.
