Paul,

That's what I was looking for... but one problem, when I try the PS I get a
command not found error.
Do I need to load a copy PS onto the Tivo from somewhere?
Kill and the tivoftp deamon seem to be there Ok.

Do not run two FTPs at the same time, it seems the server can only cope
with one client.

You should be able to kill the tivoftpd process (use ps to find its
process ID) and
restart it.

eg
ps axu  grep ftp
kill -9 thePID
tivoftpd
