Re: Automated power sockets

As you say PC power, speakers for said PC, soldering iron for when I
forget to turn it off, Fan heater in the shed to keep it warmish on those
frosty nights etc. etc. Not too many in the house though (struggling to
think of even one).

Subject: [ukha_d] Automated power sockets

I'm planning on very few automated power sockets, apart from 5 amp sockets
in my lounge.

What sort of things do people use them for? Automated rebooting of sky
boxes, plug-in
lights and curtain control, but what else?

I was thinking of having one in the kitchen so I could boil the kettle for
when I get up,
but I'm shying away from that on safety grounds.

Thanks,
Paul
