Subject: [ACE] unlimited HomeVision IR code support

A new ACE Server version is being tested that allows for IR signals to be
loaded into HV from a file and then transmitted. This feature allows you
to
break the 255 IR signal limit in HV. There is no link to the latest beta
version yet, so here is a link if you want to try it out.

Just get the highest numbered Ace-s32-39yyu.zip file. yy is currently 89,
but may increment a time or two this weekend.

You will need to learn the IR signal into HV first, then export it to an
IRL
file. You can export multiple IR signals to the same IRL file so that the
file ends up containing multiple IR signals. I recommend 1 IRL file per
device.

HVIRL - Load an IR signal from a file into HomeVision and then transmit it
Format: HVIRL:filename,signal name,hvpro
filename - name of irl file to load. The file extension of
".irl" is
optional.
signal name - name of IR signal in the file to transmit (case sensitive)
hvpro - 0 for hv, 1 for hvpro

It currently takes 1 second for ACE to send the IR signal bytes to HV. The
next ACE Server version will hopefully remove this delay.

If you view the HV commands in the ACE Server's main window, you will only
see part of each command. This is because the commands contain ASCII 0's
and the listbox used to display the commands will truncate any string as
soon as an ASCII 0 is encountered. But, the command will be sent in its
entirety.
