Oh it's all a very low tech "brute force and ignorance" approach
I'm afraid
... Bloody big server (10 x 160Gb drives with another 6 x 160Gb drives to
go
in when I find a way of housing the feckers) holding bit-for-bit ISO images
of the original DVDs at roughly 6.5Gb each.

I use DaemonTools to mount whichever movie ISO I want to play as a
"virtual"
drive and then point either a software player (such as WinDVD or PowerDVD)
or a hardware player (such as the RealMagic XCard or Hollywood Plus card)
at
the virtual drive.
