I was going to do something similar - 10Gb makes a nice handy boot drive
for
a PC at home (all my data is on the servers upstairs) but I forgot to take
a
copy of the serial key that is written to the drive by the XBox and you
need
that to unlock the drive to be able to use it for anything. Of course once
you've "upgraded" your XBox then its serial key changes and so
you're left
with a paperweight.
