Ooh,
One other though just occurred to me... if you can't find off the shelf
90cm IDE cables with the connectors in the right place, can you make
your own??
I remember seeing bulk ribbon cable and crimp on connectors in the pre
ultra-ATA days, not sure if you can still DIY it with the 40/80
conductor connectors & cables required these days though....

Only ten 160Gb drives though Mark... ;-)
...still another six to work out how to house!!!
Big cases that have loads of drive bays within IDE distances of the
expansion cards are bloody hard to find!!! (Oh yeah and why the hell do
they
make 90cm IDE cables with the two "drive" connectors 30cm apart -
bloody
useless - stick the two drive connectors 10cm apart and give us another
20cm
useable cable length.)
BAH HUMBUG!!!
