Here is one I have been wondering about but not yet researched - just
general interest not a current project or anything:
I want to understand the benefits of VoIP over a traditional PABX in a
typical business environment (you know - generally typical!) The conditions
are that the only connection to the outside world is via a traditional PSTN
connection of some sort and the cabling infrastructure exists to support
required connectivity for a traditional PABX should that be the solution.
Why would I want VoIP in preference to a modern digital PABX?
