Low voltage greenhouse heating

Hi All

I have a friend with a 6 by 4 greenhouse in the garden with some plants in
it that don't like freezing temperatures. He is away a lot so bringing
them indoors in not an option so he is looking for a way of keeping the
temperature above freezing. The catch is the greenhouse is within touching
distance of his spa - water/electricity/touching distance/sizzling
sounds......... you get the drift. For this reason he is looking for some
low voltage heating rather than mains etc. The paraffin/oil type of
heaters are not practical because he is away for too longer periods at any
given time.

So, does anyone have any bright ideas for low voltage heaters and where to
get them etc. Ideally they would have some form of temperature control
too.

Thanks

Ian
