RE: [OT] COOL Mail Server Software!!

Ian,

It's supported IMAP (albeit experimentally - but fully working) for a long
time, I've been using it with SquirrelMail to do webmail for 12-18 month or
so, and I'm sure it did it before that...

As you say tho' - Cool bit of software and freeware...

Okay, I have just solved one of those issues that has been bugging me for
MONTHS, and I thought I would share, who knows, possibly it will save
others
some hassle..

I do a bunch of IT work for a couple of Voluntary groups: not the most
cash
rich folks on the planet, and have been looking for a freeware IMAP (or
low
cost) server to drop into small offices where something like Exchange is
just absolute overkill, but individual PSTs are a little limited.

IMAP is a dead easy solution if using Linux, but that needs a spare PC to
use.. until now, I couldn't see a halfway decent IMAP server for windows..

and tonight, I found Mercury! I'm sure I looked at it before and it didn't
support IMAP, but it does now.. as well as SMTP and POP3 clients and
servers, anti-spam, smart filtering etc etc etc.

It seems absolutely brilliant. :D
