How long has it been powered up?
Does it do it fresh from boot?
If the computer is powered off and allowed to roll over does the time
change OK?

How old is the BIOS on the mother board?

Hi,

My clock seems to keep losing an hour! I have noticed the it is when
the hour changes, the minutes go from 59 to 00 but the hour does not
roll over, ie. 17:00 follows 60 seconds after 17:59. It is win98se if
that makes any difference and it happens when the pc is on. I thought
motherboard batteries were only used when the power is off? Is it a
flat battery or is it windows playing up?

Thanks.
