Hi Frank,

The 20cd LED's are an excellent price when you see what Andy paid for the
8cd ones from Maplin of at least twice the price.

I guess I could put in both RS232 and RS485 to suit all users.

Now the garden lighting idea sounds cool too. With the CAN bus link
between,
each lamp can be operated remotely and you could have some fun with
chasers,
flashing etc. I think I may pick up a cheap set of garden lights next time
I
am in B&Q and hack them up to convert them.

I think I will order quite a few of those 20cd LEDs this week and see how I
get on. A bulk buy on these after I have tested it all out, may be the way
to go.

Regards
Dave...

Hi Dave
those 20,000MCD Leds not badly priced.......approx $4.50
each....Are these the ones your going to use???

Well if you are going to use Canbus then my hv interface could be rs232 or
rs485 . I would then need to connect any further devices on the can
network......A rs232 interface would probably suit those that are using
pc,s
for control....Also maybe keep in mind ...using this for garden lighting as
well..........

Maybe a bulk buy on leds might be the go.........

Frank
