Subject: [ukha_d] PIR choice

I need to source some external PIR detectors, (UK) I am looking for=20
good quality ones, the problem being that I want units that can be=20
fitted at Eaves level, angled to protect around house.
i.e. between 3m and 4.5m above ground level.

These will be 12V units to work with my COMFORT unit.

Anybody got any recommendation ? the OPTEX units shown on sitye=20
seem horrendously expensive (>=A3100) and cannot be used above 2.5m.

Also should I go for plain PIR or combined PIR & microwave movement
detectors ?

I will also be looking for the same for internal sensors - in case=20
you have any recommendations for those as well - ceiling & wall=20
mounted types needed.

Rick
