Are you getting any indication of power at all when the mains lead is
plugged in (the PSU fan moving slightly, leds coming on on the keyboard, a
usb hub showing power etc)

Have you tried shorting the power switch jumpers directly (in case it's as
daft as the power button being stuck)

Try powering up just the psu + mobo + cpu + memory on the bench, which
rules
out problems with the CD, HDD, cards etc.

If you can't get that simple set to come alive, my bet would be the PSU, as
I have seen quite a few of those go dodgy in recent months.

also, check the CPU fan is free to spin: some mobo power management
circuits
will not fire up the board if they think the CPU fan is dead, missing or
stalled.
