Maybe I was running the standard ver?
TightVNC is a secure version of VNC, and is dramatically faster. It
offers JPEG compression, and runs fast even over 56k dialup, IME.
IIRC, you're still limited to just a single password for each machine
though. These days, I stick to Terminal Services, as it's much more
user-friendly.
