If you can live without widescreen, DABs do an 18.1" TFT monitor with
a
tuner for ?369 inc VAT. The tuner is a bit extra on top of that (can't
remember how much). I've bought one to use as mainly a PC screen - I've got
the tuner module too but not used it yet. As a monitor I have no
complaints - perfectly wide viewing angles, very bright picture etc.

Use DABS quicklink code: 2BD6WS for more information.

Subject: [ukha_d] After Widescreen LCD

I want to replace the TV in the bedroom - it's a bit old and starting to
go.

So, want to replace pref. with an LCD - but not an LCD TV which are overly
expensive. The Kiss Widescreen LCD monitor is a good bet, but too small.
Someone said there was talk of a 17" version arriving.

A bit of VGA conversion action would be more than enough to get it up and
running. Oh y, and I'd prefer a widescreen unit.

Any ideas ?
