Ah, tab tops eh. Much beloved of SWMBOs up and down the land. Scourge of

an automater. Here at ant.org's Labs, I do have a prototype opener for
tabbed
curtains. Trouble is, it's quite expensive, and chuffing hard to make. And,
at the moment, somewhat unreliable.

The basic idea is a hollow slotted pole with a couple of counter-rotating
screw threads down the middle, to which the lead tabs are attached via
floating, er, jobbers.

If I ever get it working properly, I'll write it up.

Don't suppose anyone on the list owns a light engineering company with good
UKHA rates? ;)
